Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships

Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships

Foster Secondary College has incorporated Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) across all year levels, to help students to further develop their social and emotional skills and positive gender norms.

At Foster Secondary College we are dedicated to help students develop and model respect, positive attitudes, and behaviours. The Respectful Relationship program teaches young people how to build healthy relationships, resilience, and confidence. This program has been shown to improve health related outcomes and reduced antisocial behaviours including engagement in gender-related violence.

The Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships learning materials cover eight topics of Social and Emotional Learning: Emotional Literacy; Personal Strengths; Positive Coping; Problem Solving; Stress Management; Help Seeking; Gender and Identity; and Positive Gender Relationships.
